Здравствуйте! Я установила вордпресс, и решила поменять имя сайта с wp на свое. В конечном итоге сайт перестал открываться, так же как и админка из-за ошибки DNS PROBE FINISHED NXDOMAIN.
Далее я удалила и переустановила и open server, и wordpress. В итоге у меня снова вылезла та же ошибка с тем же названием сайта, я даже не смогла настроить вордпресс.

Пожалуйста, подскажите, как решить эту проблему. Заранее благодарю.
Попробуйте в файле hosts прописать и после сохранить.

Причины возникновения
Прежде чем понять, как исправить dns probe finished nxdomain, следует узнать, что обозначает эта надпись.
Существует несколько вариантов того, что значит эта ошибка:
- Отсутствует возможность подключения к интернету.
- Брандмауэр блокирует работу используемого браузера.
- Dns probe finished nxdomain – неверный dns, адрес сервера.
Исходя из этих первопричин возникновения неприятности, следует искать пути лечения.

Проблема в Android? Здесь вы также можете изменить DNS
Если вышеуказанная ошибка возникает в браузере Chrome на Android при использовании Wi-Fi, проблема также может быть вызвана DNS-серверами. На Android вы также можете изменить DNS-серверы, как в Windows на вашем компьютере.
Перейти к приложению в Android «Настройка», и затем выберите вкладку «Сеть». Отобразятся списки сетей Wi-Fi. Держите палец в сети, к которой вы в данный момент подключены, и выберите опцию из контекстного меню «Изменить сеть».
На экране изменения сети выберите Msgstr «Показать дополнительные параметры». В настройках IP-адреса выберите параметр «Static» а затем в полях DNS1 и DNS2 введите следующие настройки:
Сохраните изменения и выйдите из настроек.
Теперь вернитесь в браузер Chrome или другой браузер, который вы используете, а затем попробуйте открыть страницу. Проблема должна исчезнуть.
Fixing DNS_PROBE_FINISHED_NXDOMAIN
UPDATE 14/04/2021: Try our free DNS Geek tool which should resolve most DNS issues for you. Since the script does not have a certificate, you may be prompted with unverified publisher issues. If you are told that the script is not digitally signed, then you can run the command below and then run the script.
After executing the script, you can change it back to Restricted by typing the following command
DNS Geek Tool should be downloaded onto a different computer if yours doesn’t have access to the internet, and then copied over onto a USB Drive. Once it is downloaded and copied to the USB, take the USB out of the system and connect it with the computer having DNS issues. Copy the file from the USB and place it on your Desktop. After the file has been moved, click Start -> Type cmd and choose Run As Administrator.
Once the Black Command Prompt window opens up, drag the DNS Geek Tool file to the Command Prompt and Hit Enter or type the path to where the file is saved, and then run it.
The tool will then run by itself and will prompt you for “Yes and No” prompts as it troubleshoots the issue.
You can also proceed with the steps below because this tool does the same as the guidelines below.
In this guide, we will be discussing how to change the DNS from local or default (automatic) to Google’s DNS. The reason is, that Google DNS has high uptime, almost 99.99%, and more reliable than the ISP’s or Internet provider’s DNS so switching it to public DNS should resolve issues where the previous DNS is down, overloaded or slow to respond.
What is DNS and why does this error occur?
DNS is a short term for Domain Name System, which is responsible for matching the IP (Internet Protocol) address with a domain name. Usually, we use the domain name to visit a website (for example, google.com). But actually, it’s the IP address that allows us to visit the website successfully. Each domain name has a valid IP address (for example, one of google.com’s IP addresses is 74.125.224.72). We use the domain name instead of the IP address because the domain name is easier for us to remember.
Every time when you type the domain name into your browser, the DNS will look for the IP address of the domain name and return the result to you. If the DNS find the IP address, you’ll visit the website successfully. If DNS fails to look for the IP address, you may receive DNS errors like “DNS_PROBE_FINISHED_NXDOMAIN”.
